Update locate database
Normally locate database is updated by /etc/weekly script. But sometimes you want to update the locate database on demand. Don't try to execute weekly script to force this. Instead call the update script directly. The update script is controlled by /etc/locate.rc, but that should normally be left unchanged.
/usr/libexec/locate.updatedb
It will take a while so be patient. Check that you are able to locate what you want.
