Power Now apm
PowerNow is AMD's version of power saving technology. OpenBSD 4.0 has included support for power management via apm and apmd programs. See apm
Set power saving mode i.e. starp power saving deamon.
apmd -C
Check apm status.
apm
If this doesn't work and you want to have a clue what is supported by your hardware. You can also see fan speeds.
sysctl -a | grep hw.
