Create OpenBSD instance
Short description is Installing OpenBSD 7.2 on Oracle Cloud.
The process and description is fairly straight forward.
- I left the external network to be configured over DHCP
- Local subnet is 10.0.0.0/24
Firewall
Oracle maintains its own firewall for the virtual network
Networking - Virtual Cloud Networks - Security List Details
So you need to open up ports for web, ICMP, mail etc. if needed
Backups
Backups are created under the following menu for the created virtual machines
Storage - Block Storage - Boot Volumes - Create Boot Volume Backup
The backups can be managed under
Storage - Block Storage - Boot Volume Backups
